How is this bible reading plan generator different from other plans?
Classic plans divide the Bible by chapters, but chapters vary wildly in length — a three-chapter day can mean 40 verses or over 250. This generator balances by verse count instead, so every reading day takes about the same time. Whole chapters are always kept together.
Can I use it as a bible in a year reading plan?
Yes — the One-Year preset reads the whole Bible in 365 days in the traditional book order, about 10 minutes per day. Add a weekly grace day if you want one rest or catch-up day each week; the plan simply spreads the readings across the remaining days.
How accurate is the chronological bible reading plan?
It is an approximation: books are kept whole and ordered by their approximate era — for example, Job near Genesis, the prophets near the kings they spoke to, and the New Testament letters in roughly the order they were written. Scholars debate the exact dating of some books, so treat the order as a thoughtful approximation, not a settled timeline.
How does the daily time estimate work?
The estimate assumes an average reading speed of 200 words per minute and about 23 words per verse in the King James Version. A one-year plan works out to roughly 10 minutes per day; a 90-day whole-Bible plan is closer to 40 minutes. Your actual pace may vary.
